By using the Befarmaa mobile and web application for learning Persian (the "App"), operated by Bijan John LLC, doing business as Befarmaa ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully.
By creating an account or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Befarmaa is a Persian language learning application that provides structured daily lessons, vocabulary and grammar practice, pronunciation scoring, spaced repetition review, and related educational content. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.
Befarmaa is currently free to use. If we introduce premium subscriptions in the future, the price, billing period, and auto-renewal terms will be disclosed in the App before you purchase. Any subscription would be billed to, and auto-renewed by, your Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) account under their terms, and you would be able to manage or cancel it at any time through your device's subscription settings (iOS: Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions; Android: Google Play Store > Subscriptions). Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective policies — Befarmaa does not process payments or refunds directly.
You agree to:
All content in the App — including lessons, vocabulary, grammar explanations, quizzes, audio recordings, stories, and illustrations — is owned by Befarmaa and protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.
When you use the pronunciation practice feature, you grant Befarmaa a limited license to process your audio recordings for the purpose of providing pronunciation feedback and scores. Your recordings are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
You may delete your account at any time through the App's settings. Upon deletion, your personal data, learning progress, and audio recordings will be permanently removed within 30 days, as described in our Privacy Policy.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that all content will be completely accurate. Befarmaa is an educational tool and does not guarantee any specific learning outcomes.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Befarmaa shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or interruption of service.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States of America and the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
